Alp Erçetin

Alp Erçetin is the managing partner of Erçetin Tanrıöver Attorneys at Law. Before founding the firm, he worked in a major Istanbul-based law firm between 2010 and 2022. In 2018, Alp was seconded to a major German law firm based in Frankfurt where he worked as a foreign associate. He founded the firm in 2023.

Alp started his career in dispute resolution. He has represented clients in significant administrative disputes, commercial disputes and real estate disputes at all levels of Turkish courts. He then started practicing corporate law and advised various national and international clients in connection with their day-to-day activities on a broad range of issues including corporate governance, contracts and particularly focused on real estate transactions. He gained significant experience in the full breadth of real estate transactions and agreements (including sale and purchase, construction (FIDIC or tailor-made) and commercial lease agreements), as well as contract negotiation. Subsequently, he played an active role in a number of high-profile M&A projects and advised leading global companies in various M&A transactions.

Alp now advises his clients on a broad range of issues including corporate law, real estate, contracts and M&A transactions in several different sectors. He is also fluent in German and provides legal advice to Germany-based clients on their day-to-day activities.
